April is a hot month in Cambodia, but before it was not hot like this.

Cambodia has become hotter and hotter, especially this April 2024.

Because of the hot weather, food can’t be kept longer, not even rice.

Steamed rice is the main food of Cambodians and also for my house. In general, the steamed rice can be kept from morning to night in the pot, but this April, I cannot keep it in the pot because it will become rotten. So to protect it, I have to take it out of the pot to put it in a plate, not in a bowl, and put it where there is wind coming in and out.

With such a method, I can keep the steamed rice safe. If I don’t do it, the steamed rice will be bad, I will have to throw it away, and I will have to spend money to buy rice from the food store or cook rice twice a day.
