It is a recipe from the wedding menu. You can find it in restaurants in Cambodia as well—especially Chinese restaurants.
Because my family gained weight, we decided to find a healthy and easy-to-cook recipe. Then I suggested this one, and I also was a cook.
It was easy to make since I had a steamed pot at home. Just clean the fish, then put it on a plate and put it in the steamed pot. While it was steaming, I made a sauce.
The ingredients are:
-sweet fish sauce—a product from Thailand
-a few lemons, which I squeezed to get their juice
-hot water
-salt
-sugar and
-minced garlic.
I put all of them in a bowl and tasted it and added the ingredients following my tongue.
I cut a few thin slices from the lemon to be a dish decoration.
When the fish was cooked, I put the sliced lemons on it and then poured the sauce.
My family said it was good, though it had a different taste from the wedding menu.
