Flowers are always loved, especially by women.

When I visit somewhere, I usually take photos, and I never forget to aim my camera towards the flower even if it is on the ground, in water, or in a vase.

Recently, I found photos in my folder, and they are of flowers, so I thought of showing them on my blog.

Light Yellow

I don’t know its name in English. Because it has a light yellow color, I call it Light Yellow Flower.

This flower does not smell. It is simple, but in my opinion, its simple beauty is a kind of beauty.

Paper Flower

In Cambodia we call it like this because its paddle is like a specially printed newspaper.

It has no smell. Its beauty is simple, but its color is very good.

Mostly, Cambodians like to grow this flower on the gate or front wall of their house.

Morning Glory

There are few kinds of morning glory in Cambodia, and they have different flowers.

The one in the photo is one kind of morning glory flower.

I like its white and purple colors. When I watch it, I think about a Khmer lady living in the countryside. They are pretty, pure, and fresh.

Lotus

Lotus flowers and young lotus fruit are not in the park. I found them when I visited a pagoda, and the pagoda is located in Phnom Penh.

Lotus is one of the famous flowers; it is presented to Buddha, and it is a valued flower in the mind of Buddhists.

White Flower

I don’t know its name. I found this flower at the same pagoda where I took a photo of the lotus.

Its white color attracts me so much.

Orchid

Most people know this flower. It is famous in Cambodia too.

This one, I did not take a photo of it in a park or pagoda; I took it in a supermarket.

It is charming. I want to have it in my yard when I have my own house.

These few days I haven’t felt well after the rains dropped. I could not think of writing about food and decided to change to typing about this instead. I hope to give new feelings to you, my readers.
