Every country has their own daily recipe for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Talking about breakfast, Cambodians are like Americans and other people – we have our own daily recipe for morning eating.
Breakfast I talk about in this article is what I eat. It is a kind of food Cambodian usually eat too but it is not exactly the same, maybe it has different meat or something else.
Khmer noodle

It is Khmer traditional food and very popular in Cambodia. It is served as breakfast and an (evening) snack.
Rice with pork

It is daily and popular too in Cambodia. There are two kinds of pork, grilled and fried.
Rice with chicken meat
It is like pork… it has two kinds – grilled and fried. Moreover, it has steamed chicken to serve with steamed rice too.

Chinese noodle

It is also popular in Cambodia. You can find it both in the city and province. It is served along with soup, and you can choose meat, such as beef, pork, meatball, and seafood.
Yellow noodle

This noodle is mostly made by hand. The meatball is made with pork.
Instant noodle

Besides handmade noodles, we have instant noodles, which we can eat with soup, meat, and meatballs.
Fried noodle

Another type of noodle is fried noodle. It is a kind of food served with fish sauce, not with soup. Mostly, it has pork or chicken, but there is a new style by adding fried shrimp.
Fried rice noodle

This food can be breakfast or an evening snack.
It is served with fish sauce.
You can have fried rice noodles with beef, egg, or Cambodian pork ham, or you can put three of them into your fried rice noodles.
Vietnamese rice noodle
Besides Chinese noodles, we have Vietnamese food as breakfast too. Cambodians call it Banh Xong.
This is popular too among Cambodians. It can serve both breakfast and dinner snacks.

There are more. I just take some to show the readers.
Perhaps you visit Cambodia, but you don’t know what to eat, so this can be considered as information for you.
I’m getting hungry just looking at the pictures!
