Tamao mountain is on national road 2. It is in Takeo province.

If you drive about 60 km/h, you will reach Tamao in 1 hour. But the road is small and has a lot of trucks, so please drive carefully.

I have been to Tamao mountain but it was 20 years ago. I feel happy to see it again. The road is built, smoothly, easy to drive vehicle.

I cannot tell exactly where it is but you can find the sign on your right hand, after you reach Takeo province.

Tamao mountain is natural park/zoo. You have to pay for ticket to enter the park. The price is not expensive.

Along the way into the zoo, there are trees on both sides. There are animals and birds.

I am interested in two animals, the animals that are almost extinct. They are gaur and tembadau. You cannot find these two animals in the other, only in Tamao. They are real, not statues.

The tembadau is handsome with its gentle face. And the gaur is tall with a serious face.

Don’t worry about food. You can find a place to sit and have lunch, Khmer food : roasted chicken, sour soup and more. Also, you can taste natural palm fruit, fresh and real Khmer fruit.

It is a good place for vloggers on the animal channel.

Well, I would like to recommend that if you go there, please be careful of monkeys. There is a lot of wild money. They are Tamao mountain’s monkey. They don’t do anything to you. They just want to find food. If you hold food or fruit in your hand, they will come to take from you. If you refuse to give, it will attack you. Even if you don’t have food, holding a camera in hand can attract them too.
