It was the end of 2018.
I can tell you that it is amazing. Let me recap where I visited when I was there.
1. Leofoo Park

2. Flower Sea

3. Sun Moon Lake

The Sun Moon Lake was formerly an electric storage when Japan controlled Taiwan in WWII.
The lake is big (but smaller than Tonle Sap Lake in Cambodia) and has about two hundred types of fishes there.
It is named after its appearance; one looked like the sun, and another looked like the moon.
4. Temple of Literary and Kung Fu

5. Alishan Mountain

6. Mad Monk Temple and Tian Chang Di Jiou Bridge

There are bridges, Tian Chang Di Jiou. They are two different bridges. Tian Chang is a long bridge, about 190 meters. Di Jiou is a smaller bridge. Tian Chang is above, and Di Jiou is under.
The bridges are named Love Destiny Bridge. If lovers cross the two bridges, it means their love will last forever.
7. Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall

Sun Yat Sen is called the father of the nation. He is respected on Taiwan Island also.
In Taipei, there is a memorial hall for him, and people love to go there to pay respect and watch the guard exchange show.
8. Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall

Chiang Kai-shek was the brother-in-law of Sun Yat Sen. He was defeated by President Mao and escaped to Taiwan.
When he passed away, his son built a memorial hall for him. In the hall, it has a guard exchange, and it attracts many tourists.
9. Fly Lantern

There is a village named Shifen. It is where you can fly the lantern. You write your wish on a giant paper lantern, and you fly it to the sky. The higher the lantern is, the more likely your wish is to come true.
10. Rock Formation

It is amazing. It was incredible when I saw those rocks. Unfortunately, there was rain so I could not take a look at all of them, and also I could not take pretty photos with them.
11. 101 Tower

12. Ferris Wheel

It is not scary. It moves slowly. As it reaches the highest point, we can take photos/videos of Taipei city.
13. Xi Men Ding District
It is where you can go shopping. It is big. It is like Akihabara in Tokyo or Myeongdong in Seoul.
I bought this purse from Xi Men Ding.

Well, that’s all I want to tell you about where to go in Taiwan.
Thanks for reading.
